State Authorization

The U.S. Department of Education requires that any U.S. college or university offering online or distance programs to citizens in a state where it is not physically located to meet those other states’ requirements to legally offer postsecondary, online education to their residents. The regulations for authorization vary from state to state.

Wilson University monitors state authorization requirements in each state and continues to make good faith efforts to secure the appropriate authorization to offer online programs in each state. Please make note that Wilson University may have programs that are unauthorized in various states and is therefore unable to offer those programs to students residing in states.
